It is with utmost pride and excitement that i greet my soon-to-be wife (yeah, take time nestle, take time!) slash sexy mom of my daughter kyle aiken slash my loving best friend girlfriend JOYCE a happy happy happy anniversary! Yup, today 9/9 marks a year of our telenovela-like relationship :P Imagine Maging Sino Ka Man, My Girl, Sana Maulit Muli put to one show hehe…

We’ve been going out a lot these few days – casino launch at a new hotel, choco buffet, wine and cheese at hotel intercontinental so yeah – no fancy date today the 9th :P

Gift? I LOVE IT. She’s not that sentimental-whateverness when it comes to gift. Tell her what you want and she’ll get it for you – upfront! She gave me this battery grip that ive been drooling over for my d40. Ain’ t that sweet?

Anyway im cutting the drama short, i still have that “forever” to blog about it… so till then, cheers everyone!

Not until today that I’m celebrating it abroad – with my newfound Phnom Penh family (celebrating it along with the Country’s King Norodom Sihamoni,56). It feels good to have a second family like the one I have in the office. Even with all the language and culture gap, they have been very supportive, sweet, nice and very thoughtful! I got more presents than my director who celebrated her birthday month ago haha!

Anyway, Id just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone ON and OFF-line for all your well wishes and greetings. Bloggers, friendsters, yahoo messengers, twitters, etc… To my folks friends in Philippines, my dad, tita and my lola. My batch mates, project partners jeff and ramsey, My partner-for-life joyce and aaron for being with me 24hrs. To my mom and my sister who traveled all the way from Phils., to my brother, my sister inlaw-kuno nina, to my cousin ate manel and partner mheanne, almost-brother jojo, bigboy, jean and and almost-sister franco and romyr, to roma and family, to mel and family who didnt made it to the ‘party’, to Mr. G for that very touching toast, to olive for that cute lil e-card, to my Khmer brothers and sisters — Kharen, Sorya, Deth, Phally, Vicheka, Udom and Chamraeun. To all the tuktuks that drives us safe. To everyone i forgot, that doesn’t mean you’re not in the heart :)

You’ll all be a big part of me and i will always live with it until the day i grow old.

Yeah, t’was me who received a lovely long-stemmed rose from who else, JOYCE!

Sounds silly but yeah, i was out of my senses when i found the “sweetest thing” (for the day) at my desk. Who wouldn’t! It’s us whose suppose to give flowers and not the one whose suppose to receive them. If you ever had the feeling or being in the state of “panic”, well thats how i felt.

I would have given her a dozen-dozens of fresh 2-feet-long-stemmed roses like what ramsey use to do to his girlalets during those flowerfarm.com days, but i didn’t.

I immediately went out with Phally, one of our sales and marketing executive. We were suppose to buy chocolates but the shop is 20 mins. drive away, so i have to get something not that far. I ended up buying Joyce the town’s best cake from Hotel Cambodiana, 5 mins. drive away from the office :P (big tnx to veronica for the discount)

We had our date yesterday the 13th and not today.  Simply to avoid the Valentine rush. The towns’ gone wild and crowded like crazy!

It was “La Korea” where we ate at. A memorable samgyupsal joyce ei? :P

Unlike last year – where we were just friends… we were out strolling in mall of asia unconsciously dating each other where we watched a movie, had food trips, and yes, we were walking on a red carpet last year — while playing around with the other couples on a candle light dinner at the esplanade. (T’was the best Valentine day to date)
