Our guests of honor Melvin “Taga-Ilog” Calingo and Wilson Tortosa will be on-stage from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for an open forum on the professional comics industry.

“Last Hope” artist, Kriss Sison and “Rambol” creator, Gilbert Monsanto will be on site for book signing and promotions.

Are you the next great Manga Master? If you are, then we want to see your stuff! Join as at the Mangaholix Manga Mania – AniManGaming Convention and show us your best works. If your stuff is up to snuff then you just might be able to work on Mangaholix yourself!

We will be conducting personal portfolio reviews with Manga Kami! Studios creative directors at the Groundbreakers booth from 12:00 nn until 2:00 pm. Slots are limited so do come early. Whether you’re looking to join the freelance roster, Mangaholix staff, or just have a professional critique of your work, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Premeiere Launch of Kala’s Pulis Pangkalawakan
Kala – MYX’s Favorite Band of 2007 has already begun airing the first local animated music video in the Philippines in the form of Kala’s Pulis Pangkalawakan. Now what would an animated series be without a knockout comic book to follow suit?

In comes Mangaholix’s Manga Kami! Studios to bring to you the Pulis Pangkalawakan manga! Debuting with its first installment in Mangaholix Issue 2 to be exclusively sold in advance at Mangaholix Manga Mania itself! The Kala band members themselves will be giving a live performance as well and will be performing new never before heard songs!

Kala Albums will also be available for sale at the Groundbreakers booth.
