Yesterday, just after accompanying Joyce from the Dept. of Foreign Affairs to get her kids’ passport, i got the chance to indulge myself in some foreign cuisine : Korean Food! Yes, Just like the food they eat at koreanovelas lol
We left DFA around 2pm for HSBC so she can withdraw a chunk of her huge savings lol… nearest HSBC was somewhere Remedios st., Malate. Situated there was a Korean Restaurant, that Joyce have been craving to eat since she got back to PI.

Me and Joyce at the Looooooooong DFA Queue Lines to the ‘Passport Director Office’

Some Korean Typography, Dont know what it means…

Fear Factor Foods.

An interesting video i found at YouTube, A segment of the Today Show in which Forbes managing Editor, Dennis Kneale, tries to live without the following for a week :
You got to see the old man cry
How ’bout you ? Can you last a week hands-off your mobile phone and the internet, literally disconnecting you? Will the most influential filipino blogger yuga last this? or the pinoy big blogger ? will the the ‘mike abundo effect‘ takes effect? Not to forget my Linux best bud ramsey, can he last a week without the ’sudo apt-get update’

Originally launched on April 1, 2004, entirely an invite-only service. You could only get an account if someone you knew already had one and sent you an invitation. Gmail invites were even selling on eBay from 5$ to $250 a pop!
In the middle of 2005, the system opened more widely, when Google allowed anyone in the US to get an invite by having an invitation code sent via SMS to their mobile phone.
And now the beta goes public… Google finally makes it official. Gmail is open to all. An announcement on the Official Google Blog confirms what everyone already discovered last week. That Gmail restrictions have been dropped. You still can invite friends and family to use Gmail, like you did before. However, invitations are no longer necessary to open an account.
