WordPress 2.1 “secret/hidden” Visual Editor Options
I dubbed the thing “secret” even though its documented because ive been using WP 2.1 for more than 2 weeks but its just now that i got to experience this (thanks to bigboy)
“Basic” WP 2.1 Visual Editor
“Secret/Hidden” Advance WP 2.1 Visual Editor
Toggles for different browsers :
- Firefox:
ALT + SHIFT + V
- Internet Explorer:
ALT-V
- Firefox on Mac:
CTRL+V
(Not seeing either of those? Visit Users → Your Profile and make sure that “Use the visual editor when writing” is checked. Still having problems? Visit the WordPress support forums.)

Update: WordPress 2.6
they call this visual editor “kitchen sink“.
For some reason i dont know why my other WP install has a “show/hide kitchen sink” by default – and others don’t have. anyway, you can toggle the added visual editor by pressing:
SHIFT-ALT-Z

I am using librow to hide my eyebrow problems which is understandable, but why do they hide this feature? It doesn’t make sense!
