yesterday i went shopping at ELJ for some abs-cbn items for my relatives in CA who are die-hard wowowee fans. I scored 11 shirts and just got myself an abscbn branded jacket… it was cool and i love it. bagay na bagay pang baguio hehe…

then jayson and i headed to Ortigas PSEC West tower to register and get the ticket for the EC-Council 1st Security Summit that is set to happen on Sept. 11-12 at the PSEC building in Ortigas. We met the speaker and we found ourself standing on the same ground

we taxi’d our way to moa from ortigas. we were rushing to get a bench fix clay doh since its been 2 weeks it was out of stock in sm bacoor. i got 2 for me and my bro. jayson bought 2 aswell for himself.

also, it was all flip flops first year anniversary! weeeeeee! the haven for the Havaianas flips. they gave customers 10% for that day only! I got 2 pairs for my sister and alexa . i really miss my girl so much swear…

CD/R King - went to buy some blank cdr’s. and accidentaly bought a nice clearcased 35-in-1 card reader! i scored one for me and one for alexa too…

oh, dinner. we just ate our starves at Tapa King. I got my parents a dozen of gonuts donuts as pasalubong. you should try the pastillas de leche cold drink. YUMMY CIA!

then thats it… oh 1 more, while waiting for a cab at the taxi bay, i treated jayson a shawarma.

since someone at my tag insisted to have an update… THEN fine!

First thing first, id like to greet my Personal Computer - "Havaiana"  its first year anniversary! (august (i intentionally took off the S so dont come tagging i mispelled it"

i actually forgot it, just remembered it last 16 when we were eating at the daingan. i was so pre occupied with thoughts of me and yeyek coz its also our 2 Year, 6th month anniversary on the 9th.

anyway nothing new actually. no new havs. here’s some activity flashback for the past few days…

Aug 16 (Wednesday)
Left home at 3:02. and was at 6750 Ave at 4:53.

I was again at my so called "Microsoft Office" (not the real name of the place though)… but yeah, its the hub office of Microsoft Philippines, 6750 Avenue, Makati City.

For the past talk/seminar, yesterday was the best for me. MSDN: Red-Green-Refactor: Test-Driven Development with .NET. I learned a lot about the key importance of testing in the development arena. and indeed… its one of the most taken-for-granted part. and hell yeah… i finally got the itch to butt it in in every project ill be doing. thanks to sir andre of Philippine .NET Users Group for that very absorbing talk. More power and hoping to have you at our campus for some great talk

We went home early. And did trip on jayson. He was suppose to come but as usual he didnt. He’s always like that — "drawing". We decided to have fun on him… i txted him to follow us at Mojito Bay, Mall of Asia — But for real, we’re on a van on our way home hehehe… We got off the van and decided to go to SM Bacoor… Lucky Jayson he was around he spoiled our trip on him though he said he was on his way to sm mall of asia hehehe…

That didnt stop us on our "revenge" though… He treated us instead… Shawarma, Pamasahe, A pair of Tuna, Sky Flakes, Chips, Ice and a Case of 24 San Mig Lights! We ended up unwinding at our crib. and eating daing late at 2am. AND GETTING REALLY FULL with 3 to 5 servings of friend rice (i just got 4, ram has 5)

Aug 12 (Saturday)
Rufo-Gacuya Mall of Asia Day Out

The itenerary was to go to the mall, stroll, eat and watch the fireworks. It wasnt followed. What really happened was : stroll, play games, ate at Gerry’s Grill, stroll again, and watched Superman Imax. It was my 2nd time to see the movie - and the 2nd time to imax.

MOA was packed with events that time. Adidas Streetball challenge was there. First Day Funk Concert and Kamikazee was at the parking lot doing some show.

It was an exhausting day actually. We got flat just before we left the mall on our way to Ate Linda’s condo.

Thats it! that was just a small part of it it was fun though kasi we were like "kids" at heart that time. haay i missed her so much. (i dont know if she feels that too)

So if you wanted to feel how good it is to have some old transcripts, start saving your logs! be it YM, AOL, IRC or whatever… it would really come handy someday

That’s where we use to hang out, Mojito Bay Mall of asia. That SM picture was the laser show at 10. I was talking to alexa at the last 2 pictures.

We were suppose to go home early but it rained.

it rained hard when we’re at bacoor area. windows were closed. thank God there was this boy-girl at the bus that was entertaining us hahaha… around 17-18 age bracket. the girl was singing, the guy was sick and with runny-nose… they were really funny but out-of-place-sweet hehehe

"Daingan" as wecall this place (near lilings) it opens 12mn to 4am only.

Thats it! got home pass 2am i guess :)

AIRPORT (August 4, Friday)
Dumating ung mga cousin, tito and tita namin from L.A. (Rufo-Gacuya Family) Supposed to be 11:55PM Friday Manila time ung dating - guess what ? 11:00AM  Saturday sila nakalabas sa airport!

Sobrang delay ung nangyare. Dahil kasi sa typhoon Henry na nagsabog sa Hong Kong. Na stranded sila dun kasi perwisyo ung bagyo. Di nakaalis on time.

Yun, natulog nalang sila kakahintay. Sila mama sa starex, kami sa van. Di ako makatulog nakinig ako ng mp3 magdamag. Tinawagan ko si yek, ayun, galit pa rin kasi di ako makakapg online. haay. ung classmate ko sa ECO na nasa LA, si Gab kinumusta ko rin.

NAIA / VFL Subd. Noveleta (August 5, Sat)
Kain lang ako ng kain ng bake mac. Walang magawa eh. MP3. yan. Nung nalaman naming around 10-11 pa ang dating, nag brunch na kami sa KFC. Parehas kami ng meal ni nico, 2 piece chicken.

Around 12/1 na kame nakaalis kasama ng mga balikbayan. almost 10 years ata sila sa states. they went in as tourist, then un, hinintay magkagreen card. lalaki na nila Alvin at RD hehe, parang mga kuya namen

Nahuli ung sinasakyan naming Van, pero di sila umubra kyna papa at kuya alex (driver) g*gu ba sila, ung traffic light 6 secs. tapos red na. (dun un sa airport road / sa may coastal mall) beating the red light daw eh nsa gitna kame ng crossing nung ang red kasi nga sobrang bilis. Ayun, sila ginago nila papa, hinanapan namin ng ebidensya (picture or video) na beating the redlight kame. la sila mapakita. ABSWELTO. asa pa sila

Pag dating namin sa VFL Subd, ung starex daw nag overheat somewhere sa may island cove. binalikan sila ni Kuya Alex. Naiwan kami ni papa at nico sa harap ng house nila Tata Rufo. Palibhasa wala na sa cavite city, nag enjoy kami ni nico manghuli ng tutubi at tipaklong sa subdivision. Tumawag si ram, kachat nya daw si yek. di ako naniwala kasi ayaw ni yeyek kay ramsey hehe joke.

un na, dumating na sila. kumain ng konting rice (ulet) then umuwi na. sobrang pagod shet. pag uwi sa appartment - hilamos, bihis, sbay tulog.

Gacuya’s Appt. E (August 6, Sunday)
Ayun, sa appartment sila nag lunch. naghatid sila ng mga pasalubong. konting bonding, nag set ng mga itenirary para sa bakasyon nila. around 3pm, dumaan sila Maryann Corpuz, nag pa bluetooth ng picture, classmate ko cia before sa engineering. Naka van sila. Nakilala ko si Dang (CSU), Mindy from MTC at ung girl na madaming bf (forgot ko na name eh :P) Matagal din silang nag stay, mga isang oras. nandun lang sa labas… kursunada nila si nico kasi macho at gwapo daw hehe… then un, nagkayayaan mag fishball kay mang diego. Hinatid din nila ko paguwi.

Nung gabi dumaan si Filip Valen, kasama ung girl nya. Nag City grill kami till 12mn nila nico.
